Anna is an award-winning storyteller focused on science, outdoors, and travel. She applies journalistic principles to narrate stories and boil down research. Her work has appeared in National Geographic, National Geographic Travel, AFAR, Outside, BBC, Boston Globe, and other publications. She recently earned an award from the North American Travel Journalists Association for a National Geographic Travel story on how oyster farming is helping the planet. Anna also took bronze in the 2024 Travelers' Tales Adventure category for Best Travel Writing for her Outside feature: "One Man’s Quest to Save a 117-Year-Old Storm-Battered Lighthouse." Anna has written about global health, international development, rare and infectious diseases, molecular biology, cancer, climate change, technology, AI, and other topics for leading research institutes including Harvard University, the Broad Institute of MIT & Harvard, Partners In Health, Dartmouth College, Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, and Northeastern.
